Meridon Event-Driven Fund
The Investment Objective of the Fund is to seek positive absolute return over mid-term horizon regardless of market movements. The Fund seeks to achieve this by taking long and short investment exposures on a global basis.
The Fund will take exposures in a focused portfolio of approximately 10 to 30 positions that are considered to show the potential for near-term abrupt change that the market has not fully reflected yet. The Fund seeks to build majority of its exposures through equities but may also take exposures in fixed income securities, units of undertakings for collective investment, derivatives, cash and near-cash instruments.
The Fund will employ a fundamentally-driven investment process focused on a broad spectrum of catalyst-based investment opportunities.
